Welcome! I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science, University of Antwerp. My research focuses on the interplay between interest groups, public opinion and public policy. I am examining two key questions. When do interest groups strengthen the connection between citizens’ policy preferences and public policy outcomes? And when do they weaken this connection? Additionally, I am working on a project about interest representation in the run-up to the June 2024 Belgian national elections. I am also studying interest representation during the government coalition talks.
